After this session you will have a clear understanding of the next steps you will need to take in order to CREATE your book.

This session DOES NOT cover the processes of Printing, nor the processes of Publishing. However, we will discuss the best ways to create your book to properly format it for printing and publishing.

This session WILL cover the actual physical tasks you will need to do in order to create your book.

We will cover the following:

• Deciding your book type - ex: Children’s Picture Book, Children’s Picture Book Series, Children’s Coloring Book

• Decide on your book size - trim size/dimension

• Choosing your type of artwork/illustration formatting style

• Choosing how you’d like to lay your text out within your illustration

• Discussing the importance of ‘shell page’ creations - Title Page, Dedication Page, Publishing Pages, Author/Illustrator Bio Pages

• Design Programing - Indesign, Adobe Photoshop - Do you need to hire a Graphic Designer or are you equipped to do this on your own?

Upon Completion, you will receive the following:

• Outline of notes on our discussion

• 3 Actionable Steps needed to reach your goal of creating a physical product

• Renee’s Left/Right Layout Form - Storyboard Text Layout Form (Digital Download/Printable)
