Pandemic Party
My oldest boy turned 4 yesterday, and his village gathered ‘round to make some Pandemic Party MAGIC. So, in honor of the big “4” -
1. Pop Pop and GiGi tented their yard, decorated and allowed 2 additional families to attend. Every family masked up, had their own color coded table/utensils and their own food/coolers 6 ft apart. Aka Social distancing success at it’s finest. ⭐️
2. My wonderful friend, Chef Trang made our family’s favorite dessert, individual Butter Cakes with homemade peach compote 🤤 (we love it so much we had it at our own wedding in lieu of regular wedding cake).
3. The Piñata was a hit (idea from Nona, my MIL who celebrated w/ @coach_jberry via FaceTime from Houston)...and I last minute found some wire cutters, allowing for my made up, “Sonic Rings” game to happen! (It really only was me tossing gold wire rings all over the yard and having the kids find them and trade them in for grab-bag toys, lol.)
4. Endless outdoor shoeless running, sand fun, kiddie pool swimming, tonssss of BBQ, and even a Baby Dedication (which I’ll highlight separately, because my Russie deserves it.) 🖤But, Seriously. Thank you everyone. And even with all the awesome presents from Aunt @gerraelove and Uncle @sungomatic, Rocky’s favorite gift was “Black Sonic” aka Shadow... a cheap stuffed animal I got off Amazon. Love these kids. Doesn’t take much to make them smile. (And please ignore my forehead vein. It pops out when I’m really happy. ☺️)
